The guy in this comic reminds me of a high school teacher I had. He was always going on about the new secret forms of media that the Canadian government had, and their ability to teleport an apple across a room instantly. He was my civics teacher. We watched a lot of footage of the moon-landing in that class.
Actually, in my younger days, I subscribed to a lot of conspiracy theories. In my defence, I’m talking like 12 – 14 years old here. I really think it was more about the fact that this secret comic-book, fairy tale science fiction world existed (if these conspiracy theories were true), than any rooting in actual fact, and anything that I could do or think to make any of that any closer to true was a good idea as far as I was concerned.
Now I just sit on the bus and try to figure out which of the passengers is magic.

When I first got the internet at the tender age of 14 or so, one of the first pages I stumbled across was dedicated to the FACT that the moon was a spaceship.
Oh snap! How did he figure out I am a spy!
You ever see that movie Hall Pass? With Owen Wilson?
