So. That thing, in the 2nd panel. It’s a mustache, right ? It took me my 4th readthrough to realize it wasn’t a gaping maw. Not saying anything about your art style. Just my own perception. I had to read through it so many times because his facial expression made no sense with the rest of theirs, unless on their planet being a father in the same room as your wife and daughter drains the life out of you in a much more painful way than on our planet.
I’m assuming you mean the third panel, and yes! I don’t know why but for some reason I’ve taken to attaching a moustache to any character I draw that is a dad, human or otherwise.

Canadians do nothing “fierce”. At most we do things “in a bit of a hurry”.
